Antonio Saporito is an important contemporary artist who was a pupil of the great Lucio Fontana. Until April 26, around 50 artworks will be on display among the most representative of the long artistic career of the contemporary painter and sculptor, works that embrace most of the themes of his artistic curriculum.

Antonio Saporito's artworks are based on spatialism, the abstract in spatialism in relation to the future, an artistic research that chooses the path of abstraction using metallic materials. These are especially steel plates produced with particular and unique colored pigments, which make the coloring the protagonist, which changes in relation to the position from which the painting is viewed.

A different painting every time, especially in the colors, but also lead sculpture panels or luminous works in metal. And then again wood and metal sculptures for a fascinating and avant-garde path.

BIOGRAPHY OF PIERO GIANUZZI

Piero Gianuzzi (Turin 1937 - Alpignano 1996) faces his first painting experiences from a very young age. He attended the studios of the great painters of the moment and assimilated their teachings, at the same time developing his own pictorial technique, of which he is the undisputed leader. On a thin sheet of zinc (2 tenths of a millimeter), Gianuzzi engraves a furrow with a rapid and continuous stroke following the indications of the previously prepared drawing. The burin must never stop, not allow pauses, which would disturb the continuity of the sign.

The brush then chromatically completes the artistic work with amazing visual effects. Technical progress is tumultuous and finds the ideal link with the artistic intuition which is brilliant. In 1971, after a normal pictorial process, he began to paint by themes, examining subjects from time to time of a biographical, social, philosophical or "simply" aesthetic nature. In fact, even nature is for him the object of study and observation, especially in some expressions of him that are particularly congenial to him. The main themes developed are: humanity, mirror images, the life and death of a traveling salesman, the horse, sunflowers, collages, seagulls, the life and death of a seller of paintings, fragments and the frescoes. The artist's latest effort is represented by four themes developed in 150 works that are linked in a single great expression of great emotional strength and conceptual validity: "The game of the parts", "representation of human comedy", as he underlines the artist, which includes: Metaphysics and symbolism, Museums, Theater - spectators and stage, The possible of the impossible.

There were many reviews in newspapers, newspapers, trade magazines, and Rai and radio and television services. His works can be found in both public and private collections in Italy and abroad.
